Summer Camp with Kim, 2024

Join Summer Camp 2024 with Kim!  We will meet 3 times starting in June.

This camp is all about squares!!  Kim will be sharing 2 simple patterns with you.  It’s amazing how many pretty quilts can be made with simple squares.  Make one or both!

The squares in Kim's 2 samples were made from some ‘found’ fabric that a friend gave her.  

The Red, Blue, and Yellow one is Kim's own pattern's that she calls ‘Renewed’.  The supply list includes fabric requirements in 3 sizes to choose from.

The Blue and Pink one is an Irish Chain quilt that Kim calls ‘Simply Made’.  The supply list includes 2 block sizes and 3 quilt sizes.

The handouts for each camp are emailed to participants the week before the camp session, so even if you can’t attend all of the Camp sessions, you will still get all the information to complete both quilts.  

Welcome to one of Kim’s Camps.  In Kim’s Camps, she takes a pattern, breaks it up into workable sections.  In each of the first few sessions she will demo a technique and give you some portion of the quilt to complete before the next month’s session.  

There is no sewing in Camps.

Some Camps are ruler camps, where Kim demonstrates how to use Deb Tucker/Studio 180 rulers and how to use them in patterns that aren’t necessarily written using them.

Some Camps are Scrap camps where Kim shares at least 3 of her original interpretations of various quilt patterns using her scraps.
